Short reports are the most powerful and effective way to get your message to the world. This can be done easily by following a few simple steps that I will describe here. One way you can create short reports by combining your articles and blog posts into a different format. These short reports, or special reports, as I like to call them will build your list, increase both your visibility and credibility, and grow you business quickly. I now create a new report about once a month to build my business. Allow me to explain in greater detail.

Write a series of three or four articles on your niche topic. First, submit them to the article directories to expose your information to the world. Then you will want to repurpose these articles into posts for you blog, making sure to rewrite and edit them to suit your target audience. The next step is to copy and paste them into a new word processing document that will become your short report.

Think about the theme of your report before you begin writing and putting it together. For example, if you are working in the yoga and meditation niche you may want to focus on people who are completely new to this area. Your three articles would serve as an introduction to your topic with detailed explanations and definitions where necessary. This short report would then become a guide that you could give away on your website or blog, to your social media connections, and in your email blasts and autoresponder messages. Your prospects would get to know, like, and trust you as you continue to serve them based on your experience and knowledge.

Once you have written your report, share it with as many people as possible. First I include a link to it in my email to my list, followed by distributing it on social media. The idea here is to get your information out to as many people as possible to increase your visibility and to let people know that you have knowledge on your topic to build up your credibility. This takes a month or two but is well worth the time and effort involved.

Ask the people within your circle of influence, including those on your list and those you are connected to in social media, to share your report with anyone they believe will benefit from what you have written.
