Yeah, always got the feeling he really wanted to be a success at the club, but he was just finished as a top-level athlete by the time he signed. As I've said elsewhere, I was pleased when he signed and hoped it would work out for him somehow, and disappointed that it didn't.

The right decision to let him go though, so we can put his wages to better use and he'll get the chance to try to make something of his twilight years under a less demanding microscope.
