KONY 2012 filmmaker Jason Russell's epic freak-out inspired Jason Biggs to reenact the meltdown for laughs -- but not everyone is finding Biggs' parody funny.
According to TMZ, a spokesperson for Invisible Children -- the advocacy group behind Russell's mega-viral "Stop Kony" campaign -- responded with a jab?at the actor's celebrity status: "Who's Jason Biggs? Was he famous once or something?"
The "American Reunion" actor will reprise his role in the latest installment of the comedy franchise, slated for release April 6. Perhaps his spoof was a promotional stunt to get attention for the film -- if so, it's working. In the clip, caught on surveillance camera in the hallways of Chicago's WGN-TV station on Wednesday, Biggs -- who had just done an interview with co-star Seann William Scott -- rolls around on the floor, tearing off his clothes and then running naked.

When security guards arrive at the scene, he puts his pants back on.
Earlier this month, Russell was seen on video (below) having a hysterical naked meltdown in the streets of San Diego; he was arrested for public masturbation and vandalism. His wife, Danica Russell, later explained in a statement that he suffered from "brief reactive psychosis" as a result of exhaustion, stress and dehydration.
Representatives for Biggs and Invisible Children did not immediately respond to THR's requests for comment.
